This building transformed an existing outdoor garden pool area into an indoor swimming pool and fitness room for use all the year round.

Tightly constrained within an established landscape, the building was kept low enough to preserve views out to the Tamaki Estuary from the existing residence.

The barrel-vaulted building is steel framed with facetted glass. The pool surround paving is travertine.
